Tips to Overcome and Prevent Colds
Change of season, specially going to winter season often triggers colds and flu. You can prevent it by increase your immune system with naturally without using medicine. The only way is healthy lifestyle ( Eat healthy foods and exercise regulary ).
There is some tips that you can use to overcome and prevent colds:
1. Keep Your Body Warm. Cold and wet air can make you sick. If the air is cold, use warm water to take a bath and put on some warm clothes.
2. Drink fruit and vegetable juice or combination of both. Vitamins in the juice can increase your imunity against disease.
3. Consumption of vitamin C as the recommended dose. Generally normal limits of vitamin C a day is 500mg.
4. Eat regular meals with nutritious food.
5. Keep the throat moist. Decrease these kind of food, sweet foods and fried foods or junk foods because it causes a sore throat.
6. Drink plenty of warm water. If possible add a few drops of lime into water. For someone has ulcer, just 1-2 drops of lime.
7. Enough rest and don’t stay up at night. Your body will be recharge energy when a sleep so it can fight the germs or bacteria.
8. If the snot out of your nose, pour boiling water in a medium container and put a few drops of eucalyptus oil and then cover your head with a towel and breathe in the fumes.
9. Eat chicken or vegetable soup. Eat a soup can increase your nose circulation which makes germs and bacteria out of our body systems.
10. Frequently wash your hand with soap to avoid bacteria and germs.
Mild exercise will help to strengthen your immune system, walk at least 30 minute constantly every day.
